Introduction:

To stay competitive, organizations must focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. 5S and Kaizen, proven Japanese techniques, help achieve this by streamlining work, reducing waste, and boosting productivity. Globally adopted, they are now essential tools for workplace excellence.

Programme objectives:

  1. Create awareness about the concepts of 5S and Kaizen
  2. Understand their importance from both employee and organizational perspectives
  3. Learn practical ways to implement 5S and Kaizen effectively in the workplace

      5 ‘S’ :

  • History and principles of 5 ‘S’
  • Seiri (1st ‘S’) step by step
  • Seiton (2nd ‘S’) step by step
  • Seiso (3rd ‘S’) step by step
  • Seiketsu (4th ‘S’) step by step
  • Shitsuke (5th ‘S’) step by step
  • Formation of 5 S zones, zone-owner’s roles

Kaizen :

  • What is Kaizen
  • Understanding the concepts of ‘Muda’ ‘Mura’ and ‘Muri’
  • Value Adding Activity
  • Seven Categories of Waste
  • Causes of wastes
  • Kaizen Principles
  • Case studies and example.

Methodology:  The program will be a classroom-based session featuring an engaging PowerPoint presentation, real-life and industrial examples, case studies, impactful video clips, and an interactive Q&A session.

Speaker:

  • Speaker has over 40 years of experience on the shop floor as well as in management capacities.
  • He has conducted more than 1000 result-oriented training programs and has trained more than 18,000 participants

 

Medium of Instruction:  English, Marathi & Hindi.

Participation Fee:
